Treasury Allocates Sh11.2 Billion for Climate Resilience in 46 Counties
Kenya’s National Treasury has allocated Sh11.2 billion to 46 counties to strengthen climate resilience under the Financing Locally-Led Climate Action (FLLoCA) initiative. The funding will support locally designed adaptation projects including water harvesting, climate-smart agriculture, ecosystem restoration and disaster preparedness as communities face increasing droughts, floods and erratic weather patterns.
