Conservation Group Opposes Plan to Alter Ngong Road Forest Boundary
The Green Belt Movement has opposed a proposed change to the Ngong Road Forest boundary that could regularise the occupation of 34 acres of disputed land. The organisation is calling for investigations into the land’s acquisition, stronger public scrutiny and protection of the existing forest boundary as concerns grow over urban development and the loss of Nairobi’s green spaces.
