Belovast Energy Limited has been recognised as a winner in the 2025 MSME Honours Awards under the Tech Transformer category.
Organised annually by Tally Solutions — a global software solutions company with a branch in Kenya — the awards celebrate outstanding Micro, Small, and Medium Enterprises (MSMEs) that are creating real impact through innovation, technology adoption, and job creation. This year’s judging panel included representatives from the Kenya Private Sector Alliance (KEPSA) alongside other industry experts.

Belovast Energy stood out for its transformative work in promoting sustainable energy solutions tailored for MSMEs. Through innovative technologies that enhance energy efficiency and reduce operational costs, the company is helping small businesses transition toward greener, more sustainable operations. Its work directly supports climate action by lowering pollution, cutting carbon emissions, and creating employment — a reflection of the intertwined values of Climate, Conservation, and Community.
Speaking about the recognition, Belovast Energy founder Bernard Odongo expressed gratitude and pride, describing the award as a testament to the company’s mission and progress.

“I am truly honored to receive the MSME Honours Award 2025,” Odongo said. “It’s a moment of immense pride, not just for me, but for the entire Belovast Energy team. This recognition highlights the work we’ve been doing to empower MSMEs through innovative and sustainable energy solutions.”
Reflecting on the company’s journey, Odongo emphasized that the award serves as a powerful reminder of Belovast Energy’s vision — to provide clean, affordable, and sustainable energy to businesses and industries that need it most.
“This award reminds us why we started,” he said. “From humble beginnings, we are now proud to be making a difference, not only by driving innovation and efficiency but by contributing to inclusive growth, job creation, and the long-term health of our environment.”
The recognition reinforces Belovast Energy’s commitment to advancing clean technology and empowering MSMEs across Africa to embrace sustainable energy as a pathway to resilience and growth.
