How Agroforestry Is Transforming Farming in Bungoma
A Bungoma farmer has transformed his seven-acre farm through agroforestry and sustainable land management, increasing maize yields from two to three sacks to as many as 12 sacks per acre. The approach combines trees, crop diversification, mulching and soil conservation to improve food security and resilience to unreliable rainfall.
